What Do You Think of Whitney’s New Look?

Who doesn’t love the classic comeback story of a major talent rediscovering the path to success after a few mis-steps (like Mariah Carey)? We were thrilled to see Whitney Houston out and on the arm of legendary music mogul and star-maker Clive Davis at the Carousel of Hope ball this weekend. From the caramel blonde bob to her glowing skin and sparkling style to her stunning black Armani gown, we don’t remember the last time we saw Whitney looking so divine (diva does mean goddess, after all). We have high hopes for the new Whitney and dare we say it, a hot new album? Tell us: what do you think of the new Whitney?

WOW! AWESOME! FANTASTIC! RADIANT! And BEAUTIFUL! Ive been talking about these pics of Ms. H sense I saw them yesterday. I even showed them to a co-worker and at first glance she was like “who’s that?”…I said Whitney Houston! She was like…”REALLY?!!!”
I was a viewer of the reality show Being Bobby Brown and seeing her in a SUPER unflattering light with her actions and appearence makes these pics all the more sweeter! She did it ALL right in my opinion. Great hair, great skin, great smile, great dress, great jewels and all very tastefully done. She just looks like the old Whitney of 20 years ago and not to mention she just looks clean, manicured, and wide eyed and bushy tailed. She looks alert and friendly. She doesn’t look like if you’d ask her something that you’d get some rude nasty crass response back. Which is how you found her on the reality TV show. Radiant Whitney!…JUST RADIANT! BRAVO!!!

Yes, she looks wonderful but once again….we have the megastar who had the drug problem who is going to come shining through and WOW everyone with their recovery and make millions. Hey kids look…use drugs, have fun, make millions, it’s all good. It’s a false reality and glamorized. It makes it all look like no big deal and all the money and support she is lucky to have behind the scenes to get clean and look wonderful again are not reality for most people.

Words can not express how awesome God’s mercy is when you trust and believe in him. This is just another example of God’s undoubtful grace. I pray Whitney continues to stay encourage and I look forward to a COMPLETE recovery. God is good…..ALL THE TIME!

I’m sure glad for Whitney. However, how quickly people forget though. It doesn’t matter if you broke the law, consumed drugs etc.
It just goes to show that people forgive very easily when your somebody. I think Whitney has finaly gone almost broke which is a great motivator to get clean. Obviously in need of cash. But ….clean it is. Sooo happy for Whitney. BLOND isn’t for her…. really…..not for her.

Erin | Oct 31, 2006 5:13:02 AM…I doubt the point here is to glamourize drugs. We’re talking about recovery and getting back on the right track and looking great while doing it. No need to scold those that can have a successful recovery. And her millions have nothing to do with it. Rather your a pore drugie or a rich one is irrelivant. Yes most dont have this showy new birth splashed on tabloids but lets face it celebs are of a different breed and do have the best of everything and can have many in their corner. Be it great doctors, hair stylist or makeup artist…etc.
Also, tho I was never a “Whitney and Bobby” fan I think he’s getting a bad rap. No one made Whitney stay with Bobby she did it by choice. Be it good or bad. No one can make that decesion for others. And they lasted longer than alot of other Hollywood marriages…(Jessica & Nick, Reese Witherspoon & Ryan Phillippe, Paul McCartney & Heather Mills), so there must have been something there. I dont think he brought her down. She did that by her own hand. But hey thats just my opinion.

I do think she is looking better than she has in a long time. But with that being said, I don’t really care how she looks. She has been selfish in being self-destructive and doing drugs, and she has not shared her talent in, I don’t know how long. I was amazed by her voice, but she just doesn’t seem to have it in her anymore. And she is probably still smoking crack, or shooting up, or whatever she was doing before. I hope she proves me wrong.

I am so glad the real Whitney is back! Man, I have missed her. I didn’t like it when she got with Bobby. After watching that horrible blunder of a show “Being Bobby Brown” I seen just how hideous Whitney was. Bobby seemed to be making her a nervous wreck. I know she loved him at one point, but she doesn’t need an abuser who guzzles alcohol. He still acts like a child, who needs to grow up. I’m happy for Whitney. She looks radiant in this picture. The hair is amazing, the dress is gorgeous. Whitney is glowing. Before, she always looked tired and strung out, now it’s like she has a new take on life. Whitney deserves the best health, and kicking Bobby to the curb was the best medicine she could give herself. It would have been a shame to see a beautiful voice go to waste, because of drugs and abuse. She’s got some street cred and amazing voice. She has talents up the ying yang, man would I love to have a voice like hers. Bobby, uh, he’s just known for “New Edition” and “My Perogative” lol. He’s a has been now. It probably was hard for her, because she was with him for what 14 yrs.? I remember when they first got together, and I was like “NOOO WHITNEY!” People are attracted to different people, what she saw in Bobby, I’ll never know, but I’m glad she’s divorced him and moving on.
