i just bought the clutch and the hobo in navy online. a friend i had lunch with had the purse and used the clutch as a wallet. i fell totally in love. i had no idea it was from target. it’s just an awesome eye-catching design. i haven’t seen a purse i liked this much in a very long time. and to be so afordable to boot! thanks rafe’!

It’s great that stuff is being made so the general public can afford to buy stylish things, but I wouldn’t buy it. It’s not my style. You guys are so lucky. I wish we had Target stores up here in Canada. I hear they are amazing.

I just got the navy hobo bag today. I LOVE IT! I’m so glad that they have designer bags now at Target, my fav. store. For those of us who can’t afford the high end stuff, this is great. We should all be able to have high fashion, not just the rich and famous.

These are some cute bags! Pricey-No. Pricey for Target-Yes! They’re really nice though. I love all the pockets.

I totally agree. I went to a pretty well known and highly respected design school and graduated with a degree in accessories design. To do something like what Rafe has designed for Target at that price is amazing. To make one bag would take me a full semester at least!

i work in the high end designer fashion industry. the average person doesn’t realize what it actually costs to make things. they are so used to mass produced junk. Target has tried to take high end design and bring it to the masses at an affordable price… bravo! For you to say it’s expensive, is absurd. If you had to craft a handbag like that from scratch yourself, how much would you expect someone to pay you for your time and labor? Think about it.

Are these REALLY high-quality handbags? Just because it’s a brand name doesn’t mean anything. I saw one of these purses last night at Target in the cream color…it looks cheap. And at 39.99 at Target, it should look like it’s better quality. There’s my two cents…(which is what the price of the bag should be)…
