Just because Kirsten’s spine pops out doesn’t mean she is incredibly underweight. My body looks just like that. I thought the clothes were beautiful. I also loved the modern music, Moulin Rouge! style.

i like the fashion in this movie and really like the era it is in i havent seen it yet but really want to i think kirstin portreys marie very well, she looks very elegant in this role and i think it suits her

Ah, the Marie Antoinette look.

White-powdered face, rouged lips and cheeks, powdered wig upon your head, don’t bathe for some time and douse yourself with toilet water.

Wear multiple layers of clothing, including pantalettes, hoops and corset, and try and breathe, let alone try to walk more than a few steps (or dance the minuet).

Then think about how long it takes to put all this on and take it all off, or even go to the restroom!

Yeah, this look is JUST what the doctor ordered…

I believe Kirstin was the worse Actress for this role, with that huge wide face of hers, and then all the pale make-up making her head look even bigger!!!Her cheeks are humoungous too begin with! Just like i can’t believe they think shes so hot to be a cheerleader captain in the other movie “bring it on’. I just don’t get it!! I guess her acting is good, but she is also a drunk- she laughed when her friend got arrested on punked!!when she was the drunk one!

I am on the same boat with Susan: I can not *WAIT* to see this movie! I am a huge history buff, especially the fashion. I am sure I won’t be dissapointed with the costumes in this movie.

I also think that Kirsten is perfect for this role. Marie Antoinette was very young when she married King Louis. She had a child-like aura about her, so does Kirsten. Kirsten (in my opinion) is even better looking than Marie was (although I am sure the paintings of her do not do her justice).

i think this is going to be an awsome movie. it has alot to do with history. also kirsten dunst is an awsome actress. i love all the movies i have seen her in. especially elizabethtown it is the best movie i have seen her in. she is so hot.

As pick-ee as I am with clothing, though I have a few hit and misses myself, I have always love the Marie Antoinette look. This is fab… jeans to make it hip… slacks to make it elegant.. sling backs or boots… with jewels or without… it’s abosultely fabulous!!!

i was surprised to hear all the ‘marie-antoinette’ buzz around lately, cuz this movie came out in france at least three months ago and i thought people hated it cuz i never heard anything about, but now i see why. btw the movie was great, not a cinematic masterpiece, but the clothes and music were sooo good, loved it and so did my boyfriend. not a chick flick at all.

Kirsten looks beautiful in the costumes (but that doesn’t surprise me – she’d look good in burlap).
