Like Mischa Barton’s New Look? Here’s How To Get It!

So another Hollywood hair memo must have gone out- first brunette, then 80′s cuts — and now bangs are the hot trend. In addition to Nicole Kidman, Mischa Barton (left) and Paris Hilton both recently joined the fringe element with their straight across bangs. We know from tramautic haircuts in days past that bangs aren’t as easy as they look– to wear or to style– so we got a little expert advice from star stylist Edward Tricomi of NYC’s Warren-Tricomi salons. Click through to the next page to read all of his tips.

Vote on our poll now! Do you like Mischa Barton better with our without bangs? Then come back and tell us: Will you try bangs for fall? Have you ever cut them and regretted it? We want to know!

Hot Shops: Lisa Kline Mens

We all love Brad’s style –and that he is a concerned dad– so we’re always interested in where he’s picking up his cool, casual clothes. He snagged a couple shirts, including a buttondown from Edun and a henley from Ever, from Lisa Kline Men, which is a fast favorite of other well-dressed guys like Owen Wilson and Jeremy Piven. Lost star Josh Holloway was just in and picked up 575 jeans and an Ever hoodie, (while co-star Evangeline Lilly happened to be cruising Lisa Kline’s womens store down the street). And if you can’t get there in person to shop– and stargaze– check out the great selection on their website (and bookmark it for the guy in your life).

Get the Look of Marie Antoinette

Marie Antoinette opens in movie theaters today, and the buzz is already growing fast and furious about Milena Canonero’s exquisitely executed costumes. Director Sofia Coppola gave PEOPLE the scoop: “The costumes had to be an important element in the story because Marie Antoinette was so into fashion. We obviously based it on that period, but then took certain license.” We think blending the baroque and the modern is a great idea, and certainly won’t be surprised when we see celebs sporting Marie Antoinette inspired pieces on the red carpet soon. In the meantime, click through to the next page to see a few products you can get right now that nod to the young onscreen queen.
