Update: Armani to Design Katie Holmes’ Wedding Gown

The rumors were true! An Armani spokesperson tells us, “Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have asked their longtime friend, Giorgio Armani, to design all of the wedding attire for their upcoming marriage.” It certainly won’t be the first time she has donned a white Armani gown– Holmes and fiance Tom Cruise were dressed by him for Oprah Winfrey’s Legends ball last year (left). Now, the real question is when is the wedding? Tell us: what do you think of Katie’s dress choice?

I think the choice of having Georgio Armani make her dress is great and I really hope that they live happily ever after and prove to everyone that they are wrong. So what if Tom has a belief in scientology everyone has their own beliefs obviously Katie doesn’t have a problem with it and that is all that matters.

The dress should be the least of her concerns. If she goes thru with this “marriage” to that man, all I can think to say is Good Luck. You’ll need it.

The dress will be beautiful, just like her. On the other hand I get the feeling like she is being molded into something different. It is like she has lost her identity, since she has been with him.
