I think those of you who keep say'n it's awful, gay, and should be banned for men are either narrow-minded or really not too bright!!! I wear 'em all the time. Nothing like skintight jeans. I also have a super skintight black leather pant that fits like a second skin on my butt and legs! My GF gets a little upset when I wear those 'cause she says i'm too hot and sexy.
She's afraid that some chick is gonna grab me away...

Hey Jude...even you can't pull off this look. You're now officially a slave to fashion. These jeans should go away. They're hideous on everyone but Kate Moss and Cameron Diaz. And even then, if I had Diaz's legs, I could think of a frillion other things I would rather wear.

I absolutely adore skinny jeans, after converting to skinny jeans, everything else looks positvely horrible, the cuts of baggy trousers just don't work.

I hate it when some (narrow-minded) women think they have the right to dictate what men should or shouldn't wear. It's downright cynical and slinging around gay/homo terms in an effort to justify their cynical views is downright stupid. Grow up!

Some earlier posters are right, when it comes to tight jeans it's not the wearer's sex (male/female) that determines wheather it looks good, but rather the wearer's physique and physical condition. Would you rather see a Lenny Kravitz type man in tight rockers jeans or an overweight flabby woman!!

besides the look pulled of by skaters and rockers, how else do you pull off skinny jeans? especially if you don't fall under these categories...

i also have notice that skinny jeans look better for skinny people with long slender legs. people with bulky legs just don't look good on these jeans.

there are some guys who can completely pull off the tight pants look (unfortuantely jude law is not one of them). but going back to my first point, there really are. the pants dont have to be this awkwardly tight and they work better when in really bark colors (actually, they work amazing in black). I can't think of too many actors who can pull this off but rock singers and athletes (skateboarders and snowboarders) really can. Examples: Shaun White, Ryan Sheckler, Geoff Rowley etc.) And like what Smith said, im pretty sure they're easier to skate in than loose baggy jeans. I don't know about others (and i guess most of the people posting here) but i feel like the guys who can wear skinny jeans should be allowed to do so without stupid judgment about how it looks gay. :)
i think most people here are getting turned off cuz Jude Law's pants are a little strange. i mean they're not bad pants but they're actually the kind that look better on women (the whole color and tightness of it and al.. and just knowing its him too hehe)

trust me, im the expert on guys with tight pants ;)

I'm with the other poster; between pants hanging around your thighs and tight pants, I'd rather go with the tight pants. I think if worn correctly, it is completely sexy!!!

I want to express my opinion on this, but to do so would be counterproductive. While we are all entitled to our own opinions, our right to those opinions END when they start infringing on others rights.

And one of those rights is to wear whatever you want. SO WHAT if others don't think it looks good? For that matter, so what if others DO think it looks good? Do YOU want to wear it? Then by all means, WEAR IT!

While I am the furthest thing from a punk you will ever meet, one of my best friends is a punk in the truest sense of the word. And one of his primary standards when it comes to what to wear is--Will other people think it looks good? If the answer is yes, he WILL NOT WEAR IT. If the answer is no, he snaps quicker than most people posting here could make harsh, critical and misinformed judgements. (And that's FAST).

And the primary thing that those standards apply to for him? Pants. He likes tight pants. He wears nothing BUT tight pants. Do they look good on him? Some people think so, some people think not. But he likes them and wants to wear them.

THAT'S WHAT MATTERS.

Nothing matters in your fashion choices other than what YOU like or what YOU want? Who cares what people in New York or London or Paris or Milan are wearing? Who cares what the people you work with or go to school with are wearing? Who cares if you look "sloppy" or "put together" or any of that?

Anyone who does needs to mind their own business. If you don't like what someone else is wearing and you're so shallow as to let something that petty bother you, then just don't deal with that person. No rule says that everyone should do only what is going to make them attractive to everyone else, and you know what? A rule like that is one which will be broken by everyone else in the world. We all have differnt opinions.

So wear what you like. "Fashionable" or not. It's YOUR cothing. YOU buy it, YOU wear it, and YOU take responsibility as to whether or not you're going to let other's opinions affect you.

Oh, one last thing--someone way up there said that the clothing industry got bored, decided to pull this out, and think that people will be mindless slaves to whatever everyone else say. Well guess what? If you expect that people are going to wear only what YOU think is fashionable, then I think you're the one who is insisting everyone be a slave to fashion.

No rule says that everyone should do only what is going to make them attractive to everyone else, and you know what? A rule like that is one which will be broken by everyone else in the world. We all have differnt opinions.

So wear what you like. “Fashionable” or not. It’s YOUR cothing. YOU buy it, YOU wear it, and YOU take responsibility as to whether or not you’re going to let other’s opinions affect you.

Oh, one last thing–someone way up there said that the clothing industry got bored, decided to pull this out, and think that people will be mindless slaves to whatever everyone else say. Well guess what? If you expect that people are going to wear only what YOU think is fashionable, then I think you’re the one who is insisting everyone be a slave to fashion.

To all the anti-male "non- freedom of choice in menswear "(pants). Taking your illogic to its final conclusion; the most gay or fag look a man could demonstrate would be to wear shorts, because he would then be showing his "tightest" leg covering, his own "skin" ! How stupid these gender biased bigots are.

No, it cuts of circulation to 'necessary' parts and it makes them look to emo and homosexual. Unless that's what they are going for, men in skinny jeans is aweful.

WOW, MONTHS later and the men (from here and there) start posting...why wait so long...hhhmmm....very interesting!!??

I wish more men would post in these blogs of "off the rack" it might help women stay in check and be less catty towards eachother...they will suddenly be aware there is a MAN or MEN present that have opinions too...whether you are gay or not, who really cares in the long run!!!

Yes, I made a comment up top...my comment was strictly directed towards gross pants themselves and nasty Jude Law himself....it seems he likes to protray himself as a complete mess that's sexy, in clothing, life, and work....well, I don't think so! And, just because I think Jude Law is nasty DOES NOT mean I am a man-hater....

And, yes, tight jeans/pants CAN be sexy on the RIGHT GUY...My darling Love for one would look so fine, cause he has the perfect butt!! Not, all men can pull this look off, not even Jude!! Remember that we, WOMEN, who are the ones checking out your package and your butt..remember that but don't get so proud of it either...wait until the package is unwrapped, played with, and see what the results are, okay!!

Anyway, I respect and understand all the comments posted since 2007. Plus, don't forget to RESPECT EACH OTHER!!!!

And, HEY indie....I wish I could sign the kyoto agreement! then we could get this party started......ROCK ON BABY!!!!

Peace and Cheers!!
