Fashion Faceoff: Ashlee vs. Elisha

Jumpers are a major look for fall, and designer Katy Rodriguez, owner of hot vintage boutique Resurrection in L.A. and New York, is one to watch. So it makes sense that more than one star would be attracted to her adorable button top jumper. Ashlee Simpson wore hers to dinner with big sis Jessica at the Ivy in Los Angeles, giving it a rock n’ roll spin with a white tank and tough black boots. Elisha Cuthbert went the vintage route, forgoing a shirt and picking up a pair of hot red peep-toe pumps. Tell us who wears it better: rocker Ashlee or pinup Elisha?

Elisha wears it better, it’s not messy like the way Ashlee is wearing hers.

I hate to say this…but ashlee does wear it better. Although you have to be really, really stick thin to wear this jumper or else the gathers in the front will make you look really overweight. So the only reason that ashlee looks bgetter is because she is really really abnormably thin!!! Maybe kate bosworth or nicole richie should wear this too…then maybe they’ll look normal for a change!!!

Definately Ashlee. That dress seems to go with the outfit shes wearing. For Elisha, it looks okay, but its still missing something.

I don’t like it on either of them. Ashlee’s hangs too low in the front – doesn’t fit her properly in the chest. However, her boots, undershirt and bag go perfectly. On the otherhand, Elisha’s version fits her in the chest, but has none of the much needed accessories. Consequently, both get a thumbs down.

I think it really depends on how you look at it. They are both pulling off two differant looks. I think it works with both of them.

Elisha: Her look is more of a dressed up style. She did a great job by not over accessorizing, and the color complements she used were very nice. She looks very classy.

Ashlee: She is working more of a vintagy rock look. This is actually how I would wear it myself. She also did great with not over accessorizing. The only thing that would make it slightly better is if she would have pulled her hair back or something.

Overall, they both look great.
