Joanie’s Take: The Inside Scoop on America’s Next Top Model

Model and America’s Next Top Model alum (cycle 6) Joanie Dodds gives a weekly insider’s view on the hit show.

This episode was all about high fashion editorials and editorial posing. Sometimes you have to work it whether you or your outfit look ugly. The challenge kicked off with the girls meeting with model Stacey Mackenzie and a super rad contortionist! I wasn’t exactly expecting the girls to have to learn to put their legs behind their heads, but hey, you never know what’s brewing in the brain of Tyra Banks. I love Anchal — super flexible, who knew? — every week. I also love how she eats like a horse. Real models eat, so you go, girl! But knowing how my own self-confidence issues held me back in during the show, I think it’s a shame that she has them too. I’ll tell you one thing — no one can win if they don’t become a strong and confident presence in front of the judges, Anchal included. Can We Talk About Last Night’s Project Runway?

Last night was the first half of the big Project Runway finale. All four designers — Uli, Laura, Michael and Jeffrey — were seen readying their collections for Olympus Fashion Week. Tim Gunn paid a visit to each contestant at their homes, to meet their families, hear about their inspirations, and offer a few pointers. They reunited a few weeks later in New York. After picking models and deciding on their looks, a scandal began to brew: Laura became convinced that Jeffrey had help sewing his finely crafted pieces. Bringing the other designers and Tim into her theory, she succeeded in raising serious doubts about Jeffrey’s work. What will happen next week? Is Jeffrey guilty? Will he get kicked off? Who do you think is going to be crowned star designer of the Runway! Tell us! Click through to the next page to read more and leave a comment.

P.S. Don’t forget to check out PR Alum Nick Verreos’ Dish on the show. Click here to read and then come back and comment!

What Should Katie’s Wedding Dress Look Like?

Following a highly public– and publicly scrutinized — courtship, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are getting close to tying the knot. And as reported in the PEOPLE.com news story, Katie told us she already has the dress. We’re dying to know what it looks like and who designed it. Was it Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, and that’s why she and Posh were front row? Was the Giambattista Valli gown (left) a warm-up for a white version? Are the rumors that she flew to Milan to pick her dress up from Armani true? Tell us: What do you think Katie’s dress should look like? Should it be old-fashioned or modern? Sleek or decadent? Let us know!

Do You Like Lindsay’s Curly Look?

Blonde, red, brunette– Lindsay Lohan has dyed her hair every color imaginable in the past year. But now that she seems to be sticking with the long dark chocolate locks, she has managed to mix it up again! Lindsay emerged from her hair salon yesterday with a distinctly curlier mane than usual (right) — fingers crossed that perms aren’t coming back in style. We do think both looks are great on her– and so much better than the headscarves. Which look do you like better on Lindsay: straight or curly?
