Annette & Warren: Hotter Than Ever!

We see them so rarely these days that sometimes we forget how much we love Annette Bening and Warren Beatty. But when they take the red carpet, as they did last night to promote Bening’s new film Running with Scissors (opening Oct. 20 with much Oscar buzz attached), they own it like the Hollywood royalty that they are. With Beatty’s scandalous playboy days firmly in the past, this pair are always classy, politicially passionate, and of course, gorgeous. They imbue the idea of dressing their age with style and elegance — looking appropriate but never boring. (And check out Bening in that Lanvin outfit — she has the legs of a 20 year old!). We hope that she gets nominated for tons of awards this season, if only so we can keep seeing them on the red carpet!

I really admire Annette. She is positively gorgeous and her acting is superb! I hope she gets nominated again for an Oscar, and she better win! She gets ripped off year after year for the little golden statue.

They even match! Probably they plan that, huh? Warren could go a little more colorful on the shirt-and-tie combination. White shirt? Maybe blue with a red tie? Yellow tie? Maybe that’s too business-y. Still, Annette splashes with the shiny skirt and white shirt – Warren could brighten a bit. But, yeah, they’re pretty great looking.

Why aren’t other Hollywood royalty couples photographed more often? I bet anything that Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward look incredibly classy together (elderly, I understand, but still), as do Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson (when Tom cuts his hair) and…I can’t think of any others off the top of my head – help me out. (And don’t say Tom and Katie – don’t say it).

Must add that I agree 1000% w/Dee re: Sienna “I Have No Class” Miller. Bet we won’t get any arguement from the residents of Pittsburgh!
