Jessica’s All-Black Look: Gloomy or Grown Up?

She is a bonified celebrity starlet, that is doing the necessary things to keep you (Joe Public) and the media, interested in her. Dressing, in all black…is overkill. She can easily write it off as being depressed over the breakup of her marriage, but what she fails to realize is that most people will not buy that excuse. She’s not original anymore. That unfortunately for her is what set her apart from her peers. She was loveable, but most importantly relatable. She screams of desperation, and she’s only 26yrs. old.

Before you take sides in the Nick/Jessica sogga maybe you should work for a magazine and look at some of the photos the paparazzi took of Jessica… Sorry to say YOUR COMMENT IS WRONG… Yes I have a friend that works for a magazine so I did get to see them in fact I see lots of stuff… JESSICA is a cheater…. She use to be someone i liked until she cheated on a VERY romantic guy who gave her everything…She is gready and only thinks of herself and making money.. Can’t make money when your album stinks and you can’t act..
The media did publize her relationship with John Mayer it was her, Her Nasty father and publicist that made it public.. ( in case you don’t read she fired him for publicizing something that wasn’t true. She should consider firing her pervert of a father) she wanted that to happen b/c she wanted to be better then Nick but notice how SHE ISN”T..Hmmm I don’t hear her music on the radio anymore..
She is wearing black to not only hide her weight gain but she is miserable..She was just labeled as a celebrity who is overrated, Her CD failed, Her movie Bombed..and she just isn’t the person that she was.. She has noone to BLAME but herself.. I don’t think she will ever make it back on top…Again she has noone to blame but herself for the fall of her career…….

Jessica looks nice- at least she’s not wearing some of those cheesy, awful outfits from the past! I agree with some of the above comments in that she’s put on a few pounds lately and is just trying to cover them up. She does look more sophisticated in these photos- now she just needs to learn how to add a little color back into her wardrobe. C’mon Jess, not EVERYTHING on your body needs to be black!

I’m not one of those people who claims Jessica is fat or unattractive, she is a beautiful girl and she seems nice. But enough is enough, she needs to take control of her team (Dad, publicist, etc.) and let them know that her private life is off limits. She used to be this really grounded person and now she is so media humgry it’s pathetic. I don’t know what went on between her and Nick, I just know that one of them seems to have healthy relationships with family and new love interests (Nick) while the other has a weird, insanely controlling Dad who has done his best to make it clear that he never liked her spouse. Jessica needs to take time away from the press and Daddy, grow up, and find her voice.

I think she looks great. She has constant media attention and scrutiny over her body and looks. If I were her, I’d try and cover up when I went out too! Who wants that kind of pressure to be super skinny and toned ALL the time. If she feels good in what she is wearing (and I think she should!) then so be it. For someone who has been through a lot over the past year, she always seems to have a smile on her face and a good attitude towards the media. Good for her.

I would also like to add that I was a huge Nick and Jessica fan when they were together. Now that they are divorced, I still support both of them. I still love Nick, and I still love Jessica! No one really knows why they divorced, except for them, and the people closest to them. The media blows all sorts of things way out of porportion. I’m not going to say it was his fault or her fault. Their marriage failed. End of story. Let them both go on and live their lives people!

Black is not bad! I understand wearing the ski jacket in hot weather, but look at the three pics…you cant say she looks ugly. Well I guess you can because there is a lot of Jess haters. But thats horrible everyone saying she has gained weight. She is still in shape, but not in Hollywood standards i guess. Jess is pretty and I do prefer her long hair, but the bob is still cute, depending on how it is styled. Personally, I think she looks awesome in the three pics.
