Jessica’s All-Black Look: Gloomy or Grown Up?

Is Jessica feeling gloomy? Or is she turning Goth? ‘Cause lately, our favorite bubbly blond has ditched her normally colorful and flirty wardrobe for black, black, and more black. From L.A. to New York to London, Jessica has been in head-to-toe-black — and we do mean that literally! In addition to embracing her darkside, she also seems more covered up. She headed out for the after-party for Employee of the Month (middle) in knee-high boots, black jeans, black turtleneck, and a Dior ski jacket — and the temperature outside was a warm 78 degrees! Is she trying to keep in step with fall’s more somber palette, or is this meant to look more mature and sophisticated? Tell us: what do you think of Jessica’s new all-black wardrobe? geez. those are just THREE pictures. how do we know she wears black all the time now? there are recent pics on this very site where she isn’t in black.

i’m not even a fan of hers, but she looks mature, sophisticated, and happy (i see a smile).

Something is definitely up with Jess. Looks like as if she had lost her style and everytime she speaks on TV recently with her dark eye makeup she sounds like she’s either drunk or high.

Its because she is trying to stay in touch with the latest fall fashions. Black grey and red are pretty much the only colors in this fall…dont bash her for trying to stay in style and then bash her when shes not.

wow i never really liked her…i knew she couldnt act and her singing was mediocore but to say shes looks awful is just crazy…if thats her looking bad then id take it anyday of the week….

I disagree. I think Jessica is still devestated about her divorce to Nick Lachey. When you are sad you tend to dress according to your mood.

Black is classy and I think that Jessica is attempting to form a new look, a classier, mid-twenties lady. Which I think is good. But black does get a little old after a while

jessicas wardrobe is evidence that shes been jetsetting around europe, where black is never gloomy, but the color to wear (even if it is head to toe) and yes I believe that her outfits reflect a more mature, chic attitude and style.
