Michelle is not the only one! Kate’s boots were such a hit yesterday that practically everyone who saw them has been begging us for the buying information. Since we love with them, we tracked down everything you need to know. They are a classic design from Parisian designer Barbara Bui. The color of Kate’s boots is currently sold out, but if you just love the style, you are in luck. The Barbara Bui boutique in Manhattan has them in stock in dark brown and black for fall/winter. There is nothing special about these boots. They are just tan knee high boots. I personally don’t think they are worth $710.. thats just insane to spend on a pair of shoes no matter what they look like!

I was so hoping the boots and denim shorts trend died with Britney! Bummer to see it back. I agree, these boots are just so-so. Jessica Alba has worn cuter ones, like the buckled pirate versions she sported at the Teen Choice Awards!

I have the JCrew boots. They are insanely comfortable and look almost exactly like the Barbara Bui boots above.
