Should Katie Wear Heels Next to Tom?

Is it our imagination or is Katie Holmes growing? Recent spottings of the new mom seem to suggest that as she is slimming down, she also getting taller. Just look at these two pix of her and Tom this past week! She is towering over him. Yes, it’s probably due to her new super high YSL pumps, but we think it’s great to see Katie not afraid of dwarfing her larger-than-life mate. The truth of the matter is that in bare feet, they are both pretty much the same size (5′9″-ish) (as evident from photos of Katie in flats). What do you think? Is it okay to wear high-heels and make your man look short?

Sniff-n-Tell: Desperate Housewives Perfume

Last night when I settled down for my usual intake of fabulous melodrama via Desperate Housewives, I decided to channel the ladies of Wisteria Lane by squirting on a dose of Forbidden Fruit, the Desperate Housewives fragrance. As the name would imply, there is a definite apple-ly smell happening, along with flowers, cedar and vanilla. Is this what Susan smelled like on her first date with Ian? Or would Bree dab this behind her earlobes on her wedding day? Perhaps, but as much as I enjoyed the odorama sensation, I have to say Forbidden Fruit ($50) is a bit heavy and sweet for my liking (plus it made me sneeze). But hey, DH is NOT about being subtle — other fans may like it. Swing by your local Macy’s, test it out and let me know what you think. Or click here to order right now. — Angela Matusik

Get The Look: Sienna Miller at the Met

We were blown away by how lovely Sienna Miller looked at the Opera the other night. So we went to the source — MAC Cosmetics senior artist Patrick Eichler created Sienna’s look and walks us through all the steps to get this fresh-faced, smoky-eyed look.

1. Brush on MAC Face and Body Foundation, starting at the center of her face and working outward, buffing it into the skin until it blends in.

2. Then use MAC Studio Stick Foundation in NW43as a bronzer. Swipe the stick wherever you’d contour: cheekbones, temple, hairline and along the jaw. Buff it in with the brush you just used. It warms the skin and contours at the same time.

3. Next, use MAC Pearl Cream Colour Base on the lid and the inner corner of the eye. Follow that with MAC Soba Eye Shadow, a gorgeous golden brown powder shadow. Use very little, working it gently into the crease of the lid to avoid streaking.
