Fantasy Gifts: Our Birthday Picks for Naomi, Gwyneth, and Hilary

Three’s the charm for today’s birthdays — Naomi Watts, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Hilary Duff were all born on September 28. They are all beautiful and stylish women, and we wish them very happy birthdays! We have a few thoughts on what gifts to get them, you know, if we had unlimited budgets and were actually friends with them. Anyone who fits those qualifications, feel free to crib from us!

1. Gwyneth (right) is turning 34 today! She is back to doing yoga after the birth of son Moses, so we’d give her an Adidas by Stella McCartney (one of her close friends) yoga mat. After yoga she can slip into McCartney’s skinny jeans and funnel neck coat. Now that she is living in London, she needs a good British bag like this Mulberry Bayswater bag. To keep her pale blonde hair in perfect condition, we would get her the Blonde-Aid Masque for deep conditioning. To keep daughter Apple close to her heart, how about this Tiffany Elsa Peretti pendant? And of course, in keeping with her famously organic eating habits, we would put 35 candles into this Diamond Organics Espresso Cheesecake.

2. Naomi Watts (left) is turning 38 today! In case she misses her native Australia, we would give her lip lacquer from Australian fave Napoleon Perdis, skinny jeans from down under designers Sass and Bide, and vegemite (come on. We had to.) To protect her lovely fair skin, we would give her Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 for everyday and Peter Thomas Roth Water Resistant SPF 30 for when she takes her bike out. And because she is now a UN AIDS special representative, we know that she would want to support Gap (Product)Red, which includes bags, jackets, and t-shirts, which donates money to helping the fight against AIDS in Africa.

3. Hilary Duff (middle) is the youngest of the group, turning just 19 today. To go with her rock n’ roll look, she should have more skinny black jeans, black nail polish, and this amazing Alexis Bittar skull ring. You can’t forget her signature hats, so we’d give her this tough one from Eugenia Kim and a Texans Cap for her hometown Houston pride. And we don’t want to make her adorable dog Lola to feel left out at gift time, so we’d get this sundress and faux-Chanel carrier for her. To keep her connected to her music (and her man), Hilary should get the T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl, which plays MP3’s in addition to sending emails and taking calls.
