My best buys were at the London area H&Ms and the Boston location. Yes, I went to at least 3 London locations and they were huge. The best buy I purchased were tank tops for $4 each. This was before they raised their prices, since most things then were under $50. I love that the clothing is good quality and stylish. Why spend $100 on a pair of pants when you can get it for a 1/5 of the price. I WISH H&M WOULD COME TO DALLAS!!! PLEASE!!! I know it would do well here in Texas, especially for those people who know about the store. You can easily drop $200 for 10 items of clothing. That’s a bargain!

I’ve never been to H&M store because there is not one in my area, but I’ve heard that their merchandises are poorly made. Well, you get what you pay for!!!! Im going to chicago this weekend, and I will get to check out the H&M store that everyone is talking about.

I personally would rather pay more for a more quality merchandise because they are lasting, and the cut is also better…. and yes I know that the chance of running into someone who would wear the same outfit as I am would be smaller….after all it would be cheaper than buying inexpensive poor made clothes.

Why would anyone sleep outside just to get an article of clothing? Please. Are you really that desperate to go out and sleep on the ground just to get a “really cute jacket..OMG!” Besides, if you call half the stuff they have cheap…..you’ve got to be kidding me. I’m not some stuck up little brat trying to be like the Hollywood stars and get the “latest fashion.” I shop at botiques, and YES I’ll buy a shirt for $12! This is what I don’t understand….why are pants $60? If you pay $60 for a pair of pants, that’s why the designers are rich and you’re not. That’s why I laugh at shows like E! that say this is how you can dress like a star….”Jessica Simpson wore this shirt and she paid $150 and you can get this shirt for cheap at so-and-so store for ONLY $55. WOW…OMG…I think I’m gonna go buy me a shirt for $55. You’ve got to be kidding me. I hope you’ll be able to fit into that $55 shirt when you’re 50, hahahaha, and maybe you can be buried in that shirt too.

Here in Europe we consider H&M clothes to be OK for what you pay – you expect them to last a few weeks. The styles are up to date but the quality will last about as long as the trend. Kids clothes are much better though. I couldn’t stop laughing on the way to NYC in 2000 as this woman told me it was the latest place to shop and people queued six blocks to get in!

I live in a big city in Germany, so there’s probably 5 H&M’s in walking distance. I think it’s great you can get the latest style really cheap. But watch out for the kind of material you buy, some is really too cheap. And I’ve had holes in some things- so it’s probably better to take a close look at what you’re buying. I have a super cute black sweater I bought some 6 years ago and it still looks great! It’s one of my favourite’s and you really can’t tell it’s that old!

I have bought items at H+M in the past like a great suede coat, but I have to agree that if you’re not going for the clothes, go for the accessories. Cheap, of the moment and really nice stuff.

Why would anyone sleep outside overnight to go inside a store? It will still be there in a week. The store is okay, prices are decent, but the register lines are awful. The Boston store has been open for 5 years now and you still end up waiting a minimum of 10 minutes in line to pay.

If you really want cool clothes for less go to ZARA and MANGO. These stores are cheap and have always the latest trends. You wont regret!

this store sucks. i was one of those who waited in line when it opened in chicago on michigan a couple of years ago. i found a sweater. one sweater for 4 hours of waiting outside and then in line for the register. i’ve tried to find several things since then, but they never have my size (a 4 or 6) in anything that’s halfway decent looking. the clothes look cheap and not well made. great concept i suppose, but they really need to tweak some things there.

I am so thrilled that H&M is in my hometown of Pasadena!!! I have been a devotee since 2001. My first experience was in NYC. My friend and I visited three stores during our four days in New York. i had so much stuff that i had to buy a new suitcase to make it home. This past year I had a business trip in Minnesota and hightailed it to The Mall of America. Once again I went H& M nuts! This time though I walked out with more stuff for my kids than myself. I bought my daughter the cutest striped jeans and she wears them all the time. Now that H&M is in pasadena I cannot wait for the holidays when I can shop till I drop!!!! Now all they have to do is open one up in Atlanta and Orlando and I’ll be set!

Sorry to disagree with most people but H&M is really overhyped. Their clothes are not that inexpensive for how poorly made they are. Plus most of the fabrics aren’t very high quality and the sizes are not true at all. I’ll stick to paying more for higher quality classic pieces that will last a lot longer and be in style forever.

I went to the H&M in Oxford Circus in London. Got a belt wrapped shirtdress for 12pounds (about 24 dollars)- but I agree, they’re accessories are amazing! Got an extra wide canvas belt for about 3 dollars and some great linen scarves!

We have two H&Ms in Pittsburgh and I’m addicted. Clothes are so cheap and stylish. You can get all the latest trends at an affordable price,so you can buy frequently without spending your paycheck. My first H&M experience was in New York and then when I end up moving to Pittsburgh i got a great surprise when i walked into the mall and saw an H&M.(and then another on the South Side!!!!!!)
Its the budget-stylish-chic heaven for girls that have standard paychecks and don’t want to live on maxed out credit cards just to be In Style!!!!!!!!!!!!
