My question is, why is do people care about Eva? Where was the interest before Desperate Housewives?

She’s up there with Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton with their superior acting skills.

i ove eva and love that she is doing this! there are tons of groups helping African Americans specifically so it’s great that she’s helping Latinos! at least eva’s doing charity work at all, and he stuff for auction is amazing! though i agree with jen, what is robert verdi wearing??

i know everyone is arguing about why eva is not helping every race of children w/ cancer but, comon she is doing a nice job of even helping out sick kids!

so stop doggin her does it really matter ?, at least she is even helping kids at all!

I agree that charities should be aimed at all communities and ethnicities but give her a break at least she is contributing in a positive way and showing that she cares about others unlike most celebs who are rich and selfish and unaware of what is going on in the world around them!

I agree with Alexandra. I think it’s great that Eva wants to help sick children, but what about the other kids that are not Latino? White,Black,Asian.. you name it, all of them have sick children who’s parents can not afford treatment. Thank God for a place like St. Jude’s Childrens Hopsital that does not look at the race of a child. Every life is precious, and this just makes me think that Eva thinks other childrens lives are not as meaningful as Latino children.

i’m sorry. i know this article was in regards to helping people, but the main thing i picked up on was robert verdi being called a ‘stylist extrodinaire’?!?!??! as if. this guy always looks horrible, like one big ‘trendy’ MESS w/an ugly pair of sunglasses on his head. and yet he’s qualified to comment on others’ appearances? guess that explains paris hilton’s look. it IS her stylist’s fault after all. whew–what a relief!! all this time i was thinking that she just didn’t have any taste or class.

If it was such a good cause, it would help all children — not just ones of a certain ethnicity. Sick kids are sick kids, whether they are white, black, hispanic, or any other colour of the rainbow. There shouldn’t be any selective help.
