Ever wonder what Gavin Rossdale and Brad Pitt chat about while having playdates with their kids? Just like us, they talk about their favorite jeans. On a recent trip to New York City, Gavin popped into ultra-hip denim brand Earnest Sewn’s store on to check out the jeans that Brangelina love best. (Angelina wears the black Harlan skinny jeans, while Brad wears the classic boot-cut Hutch style). Not one to be a copy cat, Rossdale picked up the men’s tapered Kyrres jeans. Just look at him (left) out and about with Gwen and Kingston, rocking the skinny jeans he bought! And he spent quite a while deliberating over just the right wash for the new Cooper vest (right) he nabbed for uber-fashionista wife Gwen. What, nothing for Baby Kingston?

Whether wearing primary colors or many layers, you can always say that Paris Hilton marches to her own fashion drummer. As she has in seasons past, the heiress took to Heatherette’s runway as a model — and then just kept on walking in her finale gown out to an evening of partying. We understand the theatricality of a runway presentation, but we can’t exactly imagine turning around at a party and seeing that ensemble. Between the huge hair, the animal print, and the ankle boots, Paris is over the top for a night on the town. Tell us: What do you think of Paris’s look? Is it a hit or miss?

Okay, I’m envious. Drew Barrymore has the hot boyfriend with the sexy name (Fabriiiiiizio!), she’s her own boss (at Flower Films), she hangs with Cameron Diaz (and you know that means Justin too), she can pull off the reddest red lipstick out there — and, this is what really kills me, she can wear the perfect pencil skirt and heels and look so sophisticated one night. . .and the next? She’s Miss Downtown Hipster, with her expertly worn-in rocker tee, aviators and jeans (left). I mean, did you see her at Fashion Week (right)? It’s as if anything she does, from hosting the Calvin Klein afterparty to standing in the balcony at Fab’s Strokes shows, she’s totally at ease (and must have the best closet). She’s dressing just the way a 31-year-old woman should: still fun and sexy, yet womanly — with a little edge. Today is Nicole Richie’s 25th Birthday! We are such big fans of her style and feel like we might actually know her taste a little. So we have a few ideas on what we would give Nicole for her birthday if, you know, we were actually friends with her. Hint to Brody: a girl can never have too many Birkin bags.

1. It can be daunting giving gifts to the uber-stylish, but you can’t go wrong with fashionista favorite Chloe — either an adorable clutch for nighttime or a super-size tote for daytime.

2. We already know that Nicole loves leopard print shoes, so these Christian Louboutin wedges should make her purr. Or perhaps these Jimmy Choo stilettos, since she has appeared in their advertising?

3. There is no middle ground in her wardrobe anymore — it’s either maxi dresses or mini shorts. This boho vintage dress or these adorable boucle shorts would look great on her.

4. Nicole, we want to reduce your stress levels. How about Molton Brown’s Relaxing Yuan Zhi Bath and Shower Gel or this Henri Bendel Lavender Leaves candle?

5. And because you know she can’t get enough of them, perhaps she’d like another pair of huge vintage sunglasses?

Model and America’s Next Top Model alum (cycle 6) Joanie Dodds gives a weekly insider’s view on the hit show.

The top semifinalists were ready to work it and eager to get things started. So many great personalities and fierce attitudes! It seems as if no one is shy or afraid to speak their minds.From the beginning the girls had it going on, walking the runway, posing; I was impressed. Our season had girls who had no chance on the runway, but not this season.

That sassy Miss J meets up with the girls for the first test — a photo shoot at the airport, and then a nude photo shoot on top of the roof of the hotel. Let’s hope no one across the street had binoculars! But damn, I love these girls. Anyone who isn’t afraid to strut their stuff naked is ready for this competition for sure, ’cause you know Tyra is going to throw some crazy situations your way and you better be ready and up to the challenge!
