Project Runway’s Big Fashion Week Show

Fashion Week is filled with shows, wild parties, celebrity sightings. . but my big ticket has been seeing the final Project Runway show! This morning’s runway presentation, featuring full collections from the remaining contestants, will be in the two-part finale, airing October 11 and 18th. It was such a wild scene at the tents this morning. People were literally begging to be let into the show! I entered the show through backstage, where the very dapper Tim Gunn was waiting right off the runway. Once inside, I saw not only judges Nina Garcia, Heidi Klum, and Michael Kors (left) in the front row, but past contestants Austin Scarlett and Daniel V. as well. The show was incredibly well-executed, and the clothes were right at home in the tents. I definitely had my favorites going in and my favorites going out (my lips are sealed), but you will just have to tune in to decide for yourself! — Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

I have a sinking feeling that Jeffrey won. If so, I hope he uses his $100,000 to buy an industrial-size drum of tattoo cover.

I think Michael is going to win. To the person who wrote this blurb…thanks for spoiling that Michael and Laura were in the final since many of us were undecided on who else would make it besides Michael and Jeffrey.

I disagree. I think Michael will win and if not, I am almost positive he will win fan favorite. To the person who wrote this blurb…thanks for ruining the anticipation of who made it to the finals. Now we know it’s Michael, Jeffrey, and Laura even though a lot of us weren’t sure if it’d be Laura or Uli.

I didn’t spoil anything! All four of the contestants that were left at the end of the show on Wednesday showed at the tents. I have no better idea than you do who is making it into the final 3!! That is a trick of editing, courtesy of Bravo. They just won’t show one of the collections on the episodes.

I think thats cool and bad at the same time. Isn’t being in the top 3 special because you get to show your stuff at the tents? So really its 4 that are special! AHHH the trickery of TV!! Hah well thanks for the update and all! :)

Perhaps all four make it to the final episode!?! It doesn’t seem fair or make much sense if the fourth person, who presumably gets kicked off the show, gets to show at fashion week. Heidi mentioned during her visit to The View that it might not be the typical “final three” that we are all used to seeing. So maybe all four make it to the end?!?

im kinda scared for michael’s outfit. i am reading that his wasn’t the best and he may have been a decoy. I loved laura’s line but uli’s was the same chiffon/halter outfits.. jeffreys looked undone.

pray for michael!!

I definetly think that MICHAEL is going to win. He is an excellent designer because he puts thought into his work. He pays attention to details both inside and outside of the garment. Most of his clothes are definetly wearable, but still unique at the same time. When I first saw MICHAEL though I was shocked because if I were to just look at him I would never think that he was into designing clothes. I AM RUTING FOR YOU MICHAEL!!!!!!!

Pere – where are you reading reviews of the Fashion Week runway show?
