Makeover Alert: Ashlee’s New Do

Holy makeover! Ashlee Simpson’s changed her hair — and ahem, allegedly some other things — this year, transforming from a rough-around-the-edges rocker chick to a softer glam girl. In fact, she’s been looking more and more like big sis Jessica’s mini-me. Now Ash is trying on yet another new look: a wispy, chin-length bob. (Hmm… didn’t Jessica just chop off all her hair as well?) But I have to admit, I don’t hate the ’do, even if it sort of looks like she cut it herself with cuticle scissors. I think Ashlee actually looks pretty cute. (And hey, if she hates it, she can always beg Jessica for a discount on her line of extensions!) Brad Pitt Needs Your Help! Got Any Diaper Rash Advice?

In the October issue of Esquire, Brad Pitt sounds off on issues close to his heart including architecture, music and. . . diaper rash? According to the new dad, “Shiloh’s got horrible diaper rash, poor thing. Same with Zahara when we picked her up in Ethiopa. . . We’ve tried everything — every cream, every salve, every natural product. We haven’t found the the magic ointment. Yet.” We feel bad for Brad and especially for poor little Shiloh, so we’d love your opinions on the best diaper rash treatments out there. Tell us: What diaper rash trick should Brad and Angelina know about? What products would you recommend to them?

Texting From The Tents: More Fashion Week Stars!

New York Fashion week is on Day 4 already. The weekend was filled with parties, shows and of course, celebrity sightings! Check out Kate Bosworth(left) and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, waiting for the Jill Stuart show to start. Here is an inside glimpse into what it’s like to be at the fashion shows, thanks to our intrepid editors and reporters. Check back throughout the day for updates!

Monday, 6:23 PM: At the Max Azria show. Photogs are going nuts! Paris and Nicky Hilton are sitting together, giggling over a blackberry. Nicky is in a teeny mini dress and Paris is wearing a turquoise patterned sundress and high platform heels. Jamie-Lynn Sigler is a few seats down in a long chiffon dress. Sarah Michelle Gellar looks gorgeous in a ruffled grey dress and lighter brown curls. She is chatting with young girl sitting next to her. A few more seats down is Eva Mendes, looking super 50′s with teased hair and a tight sweater.

Monday, 6:36 PM: Kevin Costner just walked in! His wife is so blonde and young, and he looks um, older.

Monday, 4:38 PM: Wow! At Proenza Schouler — Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher just snuck in from the back. So unusual for them to pull in such big stars!

Monday, 12:33 PM: It always amazes me how the glamour girls can look so darn glamorous before 1 pm. But here we are at Jill Stuart’s 12 p.m. show, which just started at 12:33 (by now you faithful readers realize that every show starts at least 30 minutes later than scheduled), at the New York Public Library and there is Kate Bosworth looking like she stepped out of the pages of Vogue with a grey Jill Stuart dress with a high button collar. She begged not to do an interview, saying she couldn’t speak yet when she saw someone she recognized, she screamed, "Annabelle!" I am sitting behind her, in the second row, facing Jamie-Lynn Sigler, also in Jill stuart. Black. Looking not as glam as Kate but still pretty with her ponytail to the side and big diamond earrings. Show is starting. Bye!

Monday, 12:35 PM: Nothing at all wrong with Kate’s voice. She is talking throughout the show with a woman sitting to her right, commenting about the frocks that parade by.
