I know this is an old post but it still outrages me. As a women who lost her hair to Alopecia 10 years ago, and I avid fan of head scarves, I think Jennifer Lopez is a beautiful role model for those of us without hair. Everytime she steps out into the public eye with a headscarf she is blasted by the news as having no fashion sense. I wear a head scarf everyday out of necessity and (in my opinion) fashionable head scarves – thanks to my own design and company – 4women.com- home of the beaubeau scarf and I definitely don’t think of myself as “unfashionable” or a “fashion disaster”. Jennifer Lopez is a wonderful role model for those of us without hair. She appeared on American Idol last evening with a great scarf (very similar to the BeauBeau scarf -www.4women.com). “Scarves on” to you Jennifer. You look beautiful and you don’t have to let your hair down anytime soon, in my opinion.

I loved the outfit on her. That dress is actually one of my favorites from the re-launched Biba line. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the thigh-high boots she wore. With that much fabric she could have went with something strappy or maybe even a pair of demure platforms.

THE WRAP MAKES HER FACE STAND OUT! I DON’T SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS ESPECIALLY SINCE SHE HAS A BEAUTIFUL FACE. ALL I CAN SAY IS ONLY SOMEONE WITH ALOT OF CONFIDENCE CAN DO SOMETHING LIKE SHE DID. YOU CAN’T GET EVERYONES APPROVAL ALL THE TIME, IF YOU LIVE LIFE BASED ON THAT THEN CHANCES ARE YOU LIVE TO PLEASE SOMEONE ELSE AND END UP CHEATING YOURSELF. jennifer’s headwrap is absolutely fabulous. incredibly chic and timeless in my opinion…almost mirroring audry hepburn in sabrina. remember when sabrina arrives back from paris?–she wears a fitted black suit complimented with a black headwrap. what jlo wore is unique and timeless. however, i would not expect the average mtv/hollywood crowd to understand that. jlo’s outfit is funky and sexy (what a combo), the headwrap definately adds sophistication and a french couture style which only a select few can appreciate.

I love Jennifer to death and I’ve been following her in her career eversince Selena, and I must say, when I heard she was going to be on the VMA’s, I got SOOOO excited and waited to see her on the red carpet. when I saw her I was like “Jenniiii!!yaaaayyy—-uh………what are you wearing????”. I was really disapointed to see she had her hair all covered up cause I’m always expecting to see a really cool hairstyle and her beatiful hair color…and well, she looked like an “old person”. I didnt get that excited “J.Lo appearence” feeling… ya’ll feel me???
I feel like she’s making her self age faster by not being in the mainstream music scene like she used to, doing concerts, interviews, appearences, and music videos (my fav!!). I know she’s got that spanish album in the works, and I’m soooo excited for, but dang girl… do your hair like you used to!! WE MISS YOU!!!! I miss Jennifer Lopez the TRIPLE THREAT LATINA!!! LOVE YOU!!! MAUH!
