What Was She Thinking? J.LO's Headwrap

09/01/2006 at 02:15 PM ET

Maybe Jennifer didn’t have time to get her roots done again, but this glittery, grandma babushka certainly didn’t save her from having a bad hair day. The red-carpet ready star rarely missteps, but we have to say, she looks more apt to do a couple laps in the pool than prove to up-and-comers she’s still queen of the block. She is just too young and hot to start taking her fashion cues from Rhoda Morgenstern! Let those lovely locks flow, J. LO! Tell us: What do you think of her headwrap? Was it a hair-do or don’t? “She made Mark Anthony look hot… and that’s a huge undertaking.”

LOL…that’s sooooo funny…

The girls at gofugyourself.com said she looked like a synchronized swimmer. LOL. I agree! I think the dress on its own (with cute shoes, NOT metallic knee-high boots) and with no headwrap would have worked though.

The outfit and boots were fine, but the headwrap ruined it all. Just way too much of the same fabric. Not sure what she was thinking.

She looks like a Futuristic Cancer Patient. Like Some Buck Rogers from the 25th century with Cancer. Then again She said she was going to swim after the show so that’s why she had her head wrapped with that glidder cap.

Jennifer is always one to try new looks, but this wasn’t one of her best looks on the red carpet. When I actually saw her present, I was thinking the whole time, “WHAT WAS SHE THINKING!” The boots weren’t doing it for her, and that head wrap was way over the top. I respect her as a fashion icon, but this idea was just wrong for her. I think it probably would have looked better if she lost the head wrap and didn’t go with such a high boot, the boot was like Beyonce’s performance boots, kinda stripperish, but Beyonce’s performance was a performance, she wasn’t walking the red carpet with her performance outfit.

I LO V E I T ! I think she looks great, different is good for a star. How boring would it be if stars dressed like everybody else? The fabric is gorgeus, her make up is awesome, the boots where rocking! Also, she works the carpet so well, unlike some starlets who slouch all the way across… Hey don’t get me wrong, I like guys!

she looks like shes had cancer and has just gotten out of this therapy where your hair falls…no offence anyone but thats what it looks to me

I think she could have definitely gone w/out the head wrap. My reaction when I first saw her last night was “What?!?? Is she serious?”

J.lo fan, and what?? Eilsel on

J.lo is just one of a kind, she is always coming up with new things at the red carpet, remember the green dress? Everyone just talked about it and then you saw a couple of stars trying to rock the dress like her, but no no. She’s unique, today she is in many magazines for wearing a “no-no” next thing you will see is a bunch of stars wearing scarfs in their head. J.lo you look amazing, like always. And I can’t believe they are comparing her with Paris,GOD!! That’s all i have to say
