Free Expert Advice: Celeb Makeup Artist Tricia Sawyer

I had given up on fake eyelashes after accidentally gluing my top and bottom lids together. And the smoky eye trend never made it into my arsenal either. That all changed when I discovered make-up artist, Tricia Sawyer, and her video tutorials “Trix of the Trade”. You can watch the make-up maven guide you step-by-step through a complete look or a specific trick at TriciaSawyer.tv. You can also subscribe to the iTunes podcast to download and receive updated lessons on blending foundation, making the most of your eyeshadows, and getting the looks of celebrity clients like Sharon Stone and Denise Richards. Did I mention, it’s free?! No more mad dashes to the counters at Barneys to have them fix my beauty disaster. If I mess up, only my little 3-inch iPod screen will know! — Amy Keith

To get to Tricia’s tips: Go to iTunes Podcast Directory and look under “Tricia Sawyer” or go to her website at Triciasawyer.tv

Is it just me, or does the model in the picture look like a drag queen?

Beth

I agree Brittany Ann- I would love to view tips about how to enhance my everyday look with makeup… but not if its going to make me look like that.

Susan

Actually, I watched several of these videos and they were quite helpful. I think if you watched the one above, you would have found this was a night time look. The false eyelash one was great!

Dawn

Night time or not, it looks scary. I don’t mind the dark eyes but the dark shadow that goes all the way up to her eye brows is, well, not sexy to me. I too enhance my make-up at night a little but not like that!!

Please watch the videos before you make a comment!!! This lady knows her stuff. I’ve been wearing make-up for longer than I care to admit (at least 35 yrs.) and had lessons from many, but Tricia’s have been the most helpful. The look that is featured here is very dramatic and not something you would wear everyday, but, for evening it is beautiful. Watch ALL of the Tips and Trix, see all of her work, then comment. I think you will be pleasently surprised. Tricia Sawyer products are also top of the line!

If you read the caption it states that this is a smokey eye look, an effect wanted by many-at night. These make up lessons are amazing. I just discovered Tricia on QVC- so she has to be ggod, they don’t have any make up on that is not 100% guaranteed and quality. She is one of the top make up artists, and htese lessons are free, pretty cool of her. I am so happy to have stumbled upon these, she is truly talented, and seems really genuine,I will buy anyhting with her name on it.
