Sniff-n-Tell: Marc Jacob’s New Splash in Grass

Remember the Grass fragrance from Gap in the 90’s? A whiff would take me right back to my freshman floor in college. And so when I smelled Marc Jacob’s new Splash (Grass), I was braced for a trip to my old dorm, but instead I was transported to a hammock on a warm summer’s day. Lovely! All three of the new Splashes, Grass, Cotton and Rain, smell very clean and light, with just hints of the namesake smells. Take the suggestion, and splash them on liberally. You can’t OD on the scents– they really are that subtle. Available at sephora.com, for $65. (Note, if sold out, try looking on eBay ) –Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

I wouldn’t want to smell like grass, or rain.

Who doesn’t love the smell of mother nature? But while inhaling the smell of freshly cut grass and such is wonderful when you step outside, I cant say I would like to lean in and kiss my boyfriend who smells like he just rolled in the bush.

Fresh cut grass makes me sneeze
