Had to Buy: Keds’ Owl Sneaks

Recently, I’ve developed a love for all things owl- pillows, jewelry- so when I saw these graphic Keds, I knew I had to have them! This special line of pull-on sneaks feature prints by designer Eleanor Grosch, who has designed posters for indie faves like Death Cab for Cutie and Wilco. The owls are definitely my favorite, but the llamas and seahorses are pretty adorable too, especially if you want a pattern that isn’t a floral. The best part? Only $40 and they’re guaranteed to be comfortable for walking around the city. Can’t beat that! — Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

I love these! A different take on “animal” print for those of us who aren’t entirely comfortable becoming a safari. Great find!

These shoes are so cute and would look amazing paired with jean capris. I love the owls, but the seahorse print is adorable too – and for only $40 I’m tempted to buy every print!

Hi, these shoes are really cute! I would buy them but, as I live in Australia, the international shipping payment is USD30 :(

If you like owls, you should check out Paul & Joe’s new line at Target…they have owl bags and such :)

for the past decade, i’ve thought keds to be the lamest shoe on the planet (i prefer ugly shoes to completely boring). THIS example of what keds has done is spectacular…they have won my shoe-loving heart.

You can get a tank top with the same owl print in Delia’s catalog

Am I the only one who is seeing clearly!! These are so ugly! What is wrong with people anymore! They’ll wear anything! Get a clue!

Now, I do like flats, but not these I wore Keds when my mom put them on me at 5 years old, and I think that’s the last time I’ll wear them. I’m not into the animal print, they’re just that…cute, “little girl” cute.

Why those people are so fond abou those ugly shoes? Those are not feminine at all:(
