We love seeing all of our favorite stars go over the top for the VMAs, and this year is no exception. From Paris’s pouf dress to Beyonce’s blinged out gown, the stars have pulled out all the stops. Christina Aguilera (left) worked her old Hollywood glamourpuss Baby Jane persona up and down the red carpet in her Versace gown and signature Christian Louboutins. Some award shows are known for their elegance on the red carpet, like the Emmys, and others can be a style free-for-all, like the VMAs, which is why we are so excited to see tonight’s show! Love it or hate it, the VMAs red carpet offers up some of the most outrageous fashion of the year. Who can forget Lil Kim’s pastie or Rose McGowan’s nearly nude dress? We can always count on performers Beyonce (left) and Christina Aguilera for maximum glamour, and we can’t wait to see what they wear tonight. We already knew about ankle boots and skinny jeans, but now it looks like the 80’s are coming back for hairstyles, too. Or do VMA nominee Pink (left) and singer Kelis just have the same hairdresser? They are definitely both channeling a tougher, punkier look these days that suits their risk-taking styles. Just as long as no one starts looking like Flock of Seagulls. . . Last night’s episode eight of Project Runway gave the contestants the assignment of creating an outfit for an hip, international jet-setter- with the twist of them being the jetsetters! Kayne and Angela immediatelystruggled with the concept- Kayne equating jetsetters with Tara Reid and "Taradise" and Angela being from a rural farm in Ohio. Angela and Jeffrey  continued fighting over the last challenge, and Vincent decided to go pantless in the work room. After modeling their own garments, they were sent on a surprise trip to Paris. Guest judge Catherine Malandrino crowned Jeffrey’s rock-star ensemble the winner, and gave wide-eyed Angela the heave-ho. Click through to the next page to read more and leave a comment.

When Britney Spears was pregnant with first child Sean Preston last year, most of the time, she looked like she got dressed on a dare or had forgotten that she was no longer blessed with 500-situps-a-day abs. But now, Britney’s dropped the Red Bull can and seriously cleaned up her style (and her hair troubles)! She’s looking pretty good, sporting sweet, flattering babydoll dresses and healthy-looking locks. Now, if only she’d leave the hats at home…. What do you think of Britney’s pregnancy style? We all know that Jessica Alba has an amazing body — just think about her bikini in Into the Blue and her sexy Versace at last year’s Oscars. But just like the rest of us, she likes a little bit of help smoothing out and sucking in all the wobbly parts, and her mysterious nude leggings (at left) give her secret away — Spanx! In fact, Jessica admits, “I wore SPANX under my Fantastic Four costume. I love them! Spanx are the only thing that smoothes out all of my lumps and bumps.” So, yesterday, she paired her delicate sundress with their nude Footless Tights, which can take an entire clothing size off the lower body! She’s also ordered the leggings in every color they come in, so expect to see a lot more of Jessica and her Spanx this fall.
