These Boots Were Made for Drooling

Here’s one reason to rejoice the coming of fall. These Valentino boots from Bergdorf Goodman are simply hot. They’ll break the bank, but man, will they be a show-stopper. (So much so that you may have to consider just how many times you’d really be able to wear them.) It may be hard to think about strapping on knee-high boots when it’s 90 degrees out, but then again, MK Olsen and Michelle Williams have recently been seen wearing boots in the heat. I say crank up the A/C and make it work! — Julie Dam

great boots, but really only for minis i think. wouldn’t it be cool if the bow were detachable for those times when you want to throw on with your fave jeans?

Michelle Williams was mentioned in this piece but is that the Destiny’s Child member or the Dawson’s Creek/Brokeback Mountain actress?

As for boots in the summer, look on the streets of New York. There has not been a single day all spring & summer where I haven’t seen at least a couple of women (some days, much more than a couple) breaking the so-called rules and wearing them.

what a waste of $1400, Valentino lost me on this one, as well as Bergdorf for selling them…they look like they came from payless….eww
