It even made it easy for her clumsy, all-thumbs daddy to feel comfortable carrying her. It really is a must have for moms, I think. When they’re tiny they’re just tucked away inside all swaddled up like they like to be. As they grow it remains comfortable for both mom and baby, and mom has more flexibility with her hands. Mine was not expensive, although I’m sure they’re like everything else, you can buy em cheap all the way up to expensive.

That is, in fact, a ring sling, and it’s a miliion times better than a Baby Bjorn if only for one reason…I dare her to try to put Ryder in a Bjorn at that size. Her ring sling could be used from the day her baby was born till he finally wants to get out.

Oh, and Kate, if you come across this, that’ll be a lot more comfy if you spread some of that fabric across your shoulder.

Very common among moms who lean towards the natural side of things, as well as some mainstream moms!

He stays put because you thread the fabric through the rings, leaving it loose, pick him up, sit him in it, spread out the bottom so his knees are as high are or preferably higher than his bump, and tighten the fabric. He’s sitting in a fabric seat, basically. And it’s really comfy on mom’s back because it distributes the weight.
