Teen Kings: Who Rules The Red Carpet?

The Oscars, the Grammys, and… the Teen Choice Awards? Everyone’s buzzing about the August 20th show, thanks to Jessica and Nick’s first public appearance as used-to-be-weds and the hype around Kevin Federline’s debut performance. But I am personally more interested in who wins the Male Red Carpet Fashion Icon award. And it looks like K-Fed is, too. Instead of focusing on his big debut performance , he is actively campaigning to win this prize. Though he is known for his unique casual style, it seems he has been cultivating a red carpet look based around screen printed blazers and retro sneaks (left).

Sorry to disappoint the man of the hour, but I have to give my vote to another. My pick goes to Terrence Howard (right). In addition to being a major talent, he wears a suit with all the grace and class that one swoony girl could ask for.

Who do you think should win? Click through to the next page and weigh in! Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

These Boots Were Made for Drooling

Here’s one reason to rejoice the coming of fall. These Valentino boots from Bergdorf Goodman are simply hot. They’ll break the bank, but man, will they be a show-stopper. (So much so that you may have to consider just how many times you’d really be able to wear them.) It may be hard to think about strapping on knee-high boots when it’s 90 degrees out, but then again, MK Olsen and Michelle Williams have recently been seen wearing boots in the heat. I say crank up the A/C and make it work! — Julie Dam

Get This Look: Spiffy Fedoras

Our heads have been turning towards these ladies in their sharp fedoras. What an improvement over those so-last-year cowboy hats that seem to be still lingering around! We’re not sure where Mischa and Lindsay got theirs, but we found this cutie at Bloomies — and best of all it’s on sale for only $45.

Can We Talk About Last Night’s Project Runway?

In episode three, the designers were told they would be dressing America’s “favorite accessory.” For those of us who look at pictures of celebrities all day, we immediately knew what they were talking about: small dogs! Well, six legs were apparently too many for Katherine to handle; she was voted off. While Uli won for her beautiful-yet-beastly socialite outfit (left).  PR fans: Tell us what you think of last night’s episode after the jump. (For a full rundown on the event’s of the night, read PR Alum Nick Verreos weekly dish).

Ask The Experts: Beyonce’s Hair Stylist Gives Us Tips

With her hectic summer record-promo tour, Beyonce is one busy superstar this summer, and her hair stylist Kimberly Kimble is in charge of keeping her hair looking fresh. We asked her to answer a few of your burning summer hair questions.

So how do you keep Beyonce’s hair looking wild and free, but not too crazy?

KIMBLE: Everything starts at the base– how you shampoo and condition the hair. Then, think about how you are going to blow dry and lay in the curls. I use different techniques when I blow dry. If the hair is going to end up full, you don’t want to straighten it too much, so try to leave some of the texture in. If you’re going for a straight style, of course, you have to straighten it with a flat iron to get it bone straight from the root to the ends. You need to put product in the hair that’s going to keep it shiny, silky and smooth and protect it from the heat.

Spokesmodel Alert: Katherine McPhee Loves Her Sexy Hair

Katharine McPhee may not have won the top spot on "American Idol," but it was unanimous that week after week, she had the best hair (no offense to the silver fox Taylor Hicks). Apparently, those flowing raven locks didn’t just catch our eye, as she’s recently become the spokesperson for Sexy Hair.  Founder Mickey O’Rourke enthuses, "She is the epitome of the Sexy Hair image," expaining that McPhee will help develop products as well as look smokin’ hot in all the upcoming ads through 2007. But before you run out and buy everything in the Big Sexy Hair line so your hair can look just like your Idol, remember that it’s not all hers! McPhee has previously gone on record as raving all about how much she loves her hair extensions.Melissa Liebling-Goldberg
